The RDS L5P 64mm turbo is an excellent upgrade for your 2017–2023 GM L5P Duramax Diesel truck. It is built and balanced in house with multiple RDS exclusive components, resulting in an efficiently powerful drop-in turbo, perfect for the daily driver / tow rig setup. To address the core issue associated with the small factory size turbine wheel, which causes high boost-to-drive pressure when paired with a larger than factory size compressor wheel, we developed a RDS exclusive nozzle vane cage that allows us to increase exhaust flow, as well as the turbine wheel size for better EGT and boost-to-drive pressure control.
